Peter R. Blum
Mr. Blum is a Founding Partner of Colrain Capital LLC, formerly Mayo Capital Partners, and is the President of the firm, responsible for managing the firm’s business affairs as well as developing and implementing Colrain’s strategic business plan and investment strategies. Peter was previously managing director, portfolio manager, and senior client service manager for the U.S. Active Strategy of Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Co. LLC. He was a member of GMO’s Management Committee. Prior to joining GMO in 1998, Peter worked for 22 years at Salomon Brothers, most recently as Managing Director and manager of the Boston Equity Unit. Peter is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the World Peace Foundation, and chairs its investment committee. He is a trustee and co-chair of the investment committee of the Norman Rockwell Museum, and a member of the board of the Concord Conservatory of Music. He earned a B.S. in Psychology from Trinity College, where he was a member of the Board of Trustees and currently serves on the Investment Committee, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School
Timothy E. Quinlisk
Mr. Quinlisk, CFA, is a Founding Partner of Colrain Capital LLC, and is a portfolio manager, overseeing all elements of the firm’s portfolio management. Tim was previously a Senior Vice President at John Hancock Advisers and served as the team leader and lead portfolio manager for the firm's $2.7 billion value-oriented equity strategies serving the retail, institutional, and privately managed accounts markets. Prior to joining John Hancock Advisors he was a portfolio manager and analyst for Hagler, Mastrovita, and Hewitt, Inc. Prior to HMH, Tim spent two years as a research analyst at State Street Global Advisors and prior to SSGA, he spent nearly ten years at Sun Life Assurance of Canada in a variety of senior investment positions. He earned a B.S.B.A. in Finance from Bryant College and attended the M.S. in Finance program at Bentley College. Tim is a Chartered Financial Analyst and member of the Boston Security Analysts Society.
William R. Barton
Mr. Barton is a Founding Partner of Colrain Capital LLC, and is a portfolio manager, overseeing all elements of the firm’s portfolio management. Bill was previously a research analyst for the U.S. Active Strategy of Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Co. LLC (GMO). Prior to joining GMO, he worked as an associate for Cowen & Company in their Technology Investment Banking Group, and as an analyst in Oppenheimer’s Investment Banking Group. Bill earned his B.A. in English from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia's Colgate Darden Graduate School of Management, where he was a MasterCard Scholar. Bill is a member of the Investment Committee of the Sand Pond Corporation, and serves as Treasurer and Vice President of the Concord-Carlisle Community Chest.
Tara J. Rosa
Ms. Rosa is a Founding Partner of Colrain Capital LLC, and is responsible for the back-office operations, trade management of the firm, and the SEC & Regulatory compliance oversight of Colrain. Tara joined the team (then Mayo Investment Advisers LLC) in 2006 as a member of the Investment Operations group. Tara was previously a fund accountant at Investors Bank & Trust. Prior to joining IBT, she held internships with John Hancock Financial Services, Batterymarch Financial Management, and Manulife Financial. Tara earned a B.A. with a dual concentration in Finance and International Business from Northeastern University, and her M.B.A from Arizona State University.
